      		 I've known about them for a long time and like their stuff. I have the deluxe two cd version of Loaded which I've always thought was underrated and on vinyl a reissue of the self titled third album and a double album from 1980 with a best of the Velvets on one album and a best of solo Lou on the other.

        		 I've listened to much of their music. Can't say that they're a favorite of mine though. I mean, they aren't bad. I liked Lou Reed's solo jointz better.

        I like that Rock'n'Roll song of his. "They started dancin' to that fine, fine music..."

            		 I find it hilarious that this thread is asking if people have HEARD OF The Velvet Underground. They're world famous! Definitely in my top 5 favourite bands.
