Some of you may, or may not know this, but before, and after Star Trek was cancelled, William Shatner (Captain James T. Kirk), and Leonard Nimoy (Mr. Spock) did some solo albums. William's album was The Transformed Man. The two most *terrible tracks on there are:

    Theme from Cyrano/Mr. Tambourine Man
Spleen/Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds

    *Terrible in a hilarious way.

Leonard Nimoy did two albums. I don't remember what they're called but one of them has his only two hits:

    The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins
    Highly Illogical

The other album he did is where he did a bunch of cover tunes.

Only one compilation disc featuring both these guys was released it was called "Spaced Out: The Best of William Shatner, and Leonard Nimoy".

Has anyone else heard these guys do music? It's hilarious!

Shatner's take on Elton John's "Rocketman" is great. I haven't heard any of Nemoy's stuff though.

Shatner made a new album a few years back produced by Ben Folds called Hasbeen. It's actually pretty funny and has some cool people guesting on it. My favorite track on it is I Can't Get Behind That featuring Henry Rollins and Adrian Belew.
