I hear Warner is planning on rebooting the franchise in 2011 just like they did with "Batman Begins" and "Dark Knight", i dunno who will play the man of steel and who the director will be but i hear that Brainiac will be in it.

Well Singer didn't want to reboot the series in the first place cause he believes the original movie and part 2 are excellent movies, he decided to ignore "Superman III" and "Superman 4" like they didn't happened as it continues off the series. Sort of how the new Batman movies aren't related to the Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher films as it sets off to a new and fresh franchise.

Sally Acorn, one of the characters from SatAM and the Archie Sonic Comics. The only Sonic game she appeared on was Sonic Spinball in the bonus game and that's it.

Well, Greengoblin said that. Greengoblin is named after the Green Goblin, which is a villain to Spiderman. Spiderman and Superman are both heroes, so they relate almost directly.

I heard they want to take the franchise in a "darker" direction. I don't know why everyone feels like they need to do this with comic book films now since The Dark Knight made more money than God. Superman does not need to be "dark", it would be a complete joke. Just look at The Spirit, they took that character in a "darker" direction, and the result was the fail of the year.

Gosh. I'm tired of these "comic book" movies. Superman, Spiderman, Iron Man, Hancock....it's getting old.

Hancock wasn't based on a comic book.

Taking Batman in a 'darker' direction makes sense and is a logical step. Superman should in my opinion go the complete opposite direction. Batman was always brood and moody with dark tones, even his moniker suggests night. I think Superman movies should be about grandeur, epic and heroic and be about justice prevailing above all.

Exactly. I think Bruce Timm said the same thing when he started art direction work on the Superman animated series. Batman is the dark, brooding series. Superman has to have a light, cheerful feel to it. Batman is the night, Superman is the day.

I hope you're joking. I'd like to see them ignore Superman Returns and start all over again.

Why?? Nobody cares about Superman anymore. There are much better superheroes like Spider-Man, Batman, Daredevil, and the X-Men.

as much as i dislike everything marvel besides batman and superman, im really looking forward to this movie, i saw some concept art for it and hopefully they give it a more darker storyline like they did with the christoper nolan and tim burton batman flims, hopefully it's not a disappointment like superman returns
