Who remembers the 1985 Harold Faltermeyer hit "Axel F"?

The song's title refers to Axel Foley, the lead character on Beverly Hills Cop (1984), portrayed by Eddie Murphy (who wound up having a #2 chart hit of his own with "Party All the Time," featuring the late Rick James, in late December 1985). "Axel F" made #3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart in June 1985.

I truly prefer Harold Faltermeyer's original version rather than the Crazy Frog version that we've heard in recent years. And I'm pretty sure all of you agree with me on that, no denying it...

That song is timeless and usually for no reason I do find myself humming once in while and as I write this its playing in head. The Crazy Frog version is fun but the original is better.

Yeah, that song is up there somewhere with Indiana Jones, Jaws and Jason (*chi-chi-chi-ah-ah-ah*)

It's literally the only song I can play on the piano/keyboard. Also the only one I wanted to learn.

It's a pretty fun one to play especially if you have a decent synth, man the remixes are unlimited and you can make some hilarious mixes.

Harold Faltermeyer's is the best version of this song.

I think that goes without saying.
Recipe for nostalgia: Mix 80's and 90's culture. Stir in some good memories. Add a dash of reflection. Mixture should now taste bittersweet. Shake well and enjoy!

I love it, it's like the 80's anthem, hate the crazy frog version.
