        		 Yeah, it's gonna be a dumbed-down, americanized (full of blatant advertising for budweiser, nike, gmc, etc) translation of a movie that is good enough and recent enough that remaking it is more of an insult to the audience and a quick grasp for cash than it is an endeavor in movie making.

        And lemme guess, Spielberg will somehow work the plight of the jews into the story as well. Because lord knows a movie isn't a movie unless you use some cheap way to get the audience to cry for some sad jewish-exclusive happenstance.

              		 They are high as hell at amazon. I justed ordered a copy on ebay for ten bucks. Hope it turns out good.

                  		 Well of COURSE this movie is getting remade...

                  Hollywood clearly can't make anything original anymore, so there should be no real surprise here. Well, other than the fact that they actually got a high profile actor to play the lead role instead of hiring some young hot nameless bimbo/douche from one of those CW shows to appeal to the PG-13 crowd...
                  Still isn't gonna stop it from sucking though.

                    		 Lets not automatically say it's going to suck. I haven't seen many films that will slith has been in lately that I can say just really sucked. This has a chance of being good in my opinion. I can't wait for my copy to get here of the original.

                      		 The movie was good, but messed up. Has anyone read the manga? I'm guessing the remake will be toned down. If they kept the original ending, I have a feeling some people would be offended.

                          		 I find it hard to believe that Will Smith is going to find out that he had relations with his daughter then cut his own tounge out as proof to his one-time captor that he will never tell anyone that he knows that he aided in his sister's suicide.

                            Didn't even know they had a manga for this. I hope my movie get here soon so I can check this out.
