I saw this in TV Production, and boy, was it fucked up. The whole time during the ending I thought it was going to cut to Rosemary waking up from a nightmare, and when it panned across all the houses, I was freaking shocked that was the real ending. It's left me with a pretty creepy feeling the rest of the day.

Now that's what horror movies are supposed to be like. I'm not the type of person to usually complain about things today being worse like a ton of people on here, but most horror movies these days are just people breathing really hard and whispering something, silence, and then a loud scream. Rosemary's Baby didn't scare me in a flinching way like today's horror movies, it scared me in a real way, a way that instead of just making me shiver for a few seconds, has got me thinking deeply. Everything was done so perfectly and in such a realistic fashion.

And I have to say, Mia Farrow was quite the hotty. Satan has good tastes.

Yeah, most modern horror films should be called startlers because they just make you jump with loud noises and sudden, jerky visuals. A lot of older horror movies have more heart, they get you where you think, rather than just poking you hard with a stick.

this is actually my "scariest movie of all time"

          why you ask?

because it taps into my deep-seeded feelings of paranoia.
