What is your favorite year of the 1980's? My favorite would be 1984 with 1985 a close second. That's when all the good stuff came out. Tons of good music and movies from those years.

I'll go with 1984 first, then 1985 and 86. Really 1984 was the breakthrough year in music and movies. I graduated high school in 85.

Yeah, 1984, by far. The Olympics came to L.A. (where I was living at the time) and there was so much hype about them, especially with Mary Lou Retton kicking ass. That's also the year we moved to Oregon. So, yeah....awesome year.

Although it was the twilight, I fondly remember 1989...

The best year had to be 85 ,86,89 that's when networks were in their prime for showing great cartoons everyday and especially Saturday mornings . It was just about having fun then it wasn't about making money it gave us imagination which the kids of today don't have .
