I agree with Captain Caps, but honestly, that doesn't excuse them from not knowing things like the fact that Gwen Stefani used to be in a band just TWO YEARS AGO. It's funny because everyone thinks the Black Eyed Peas are a new group too. Have they been hiding in a cave for the last few years? Or is there a certain age where you begin to become engrossed pop culture, making everything before then obsolete?

And I frankly cannot believe what they said about the new American Pie song.

Come on now, we're all guilty of playing into the youth culture, but at least I knew that U2 has been making music since before I was born, and that Limp Bizkit did not write "Faith."

Does it happen as the result of adolescent egocentrism, or do they just like to believe that they invented everything?
