Gummi Bears. I mean, the theme was so awesome. Don't get me wrong, I love the Care Bears et al, but the Gummi's were just cooler.

        Take an ounce of bounce
        A pound of pounce
        And ripe gummy berries
        In varying amounts

        Dump them in the pot
        Stir them 'til they're loose
        It's really something special
        It's gummy beary juice!

        Gummy beary,
        gummy beary juice
        Gummy beary,
        gummy beary juice
        We can bounce like kangaroos
        With gummy beary juice

My God ... How can any of those mentioned ever hope to compare to the epic journey of TEDDY RUXPIN! That show was the best bear cartoon ever!

                Little Bear, such a cutie.
Dot: Don't look down. You might fall and hit your head and die and your brains would leak out alllllll over.

The programs which have been mentioned are all fun shows with characters that have gone straight to our hearts...and to this day they've never left us. We loved the music, the fun and the adventure.

My vote goes to a show that's all that...and all that jazz! A show that featured high-flying adventure; centered around a cub with a very special talent for surfing...5,000 feet above ground. An orphan who hung out with pirates and wanted a new beginning. In a little city by the bay, he'd find that new beginning and more. He'd find new adventures; with a pilot he would call "Papa Bear." Ultimately, he would find a place where he belonged; he came to that place he thought he'd never find...Home.

One look at my name and Avatar would've probably set off any alarms about which show would get my vote. It would've been easier to just say "Tale Spin" and be done with it; but I love re-telling why this show, and Kit Cloudkicker, mean to me what they do. I think fans of any other show would understand because their favourite shows mean to them the same way.

It has been said many times, with great justification, that Television is a vast wasteland. Even within that vast wasteland, however, there is an oasis. It takes the form of your favourite show; a cartoon, sitcom or whatever. The greatest of these shows make you laugh, think and feel. To me they cease to be TV shows...and become art. It's as if some writers, producers and directors got together and decided to make a show; determined to make it something more. Considering how your favourite shows from back in the day still mean something to you today...I'd say those creative people succeded in their mission. That is Television at its very best.

I used to watch both Gummi Bears and the Care Bears, but I remember a lot more about the Care Bears for some reason. The Gummi Bears was cute too. I remember the song so well!

Eloquently put. I have to agree with that as well.

I was mostly into Yogi Bear and sometimes Gummi Bears. Sometimes I'd have to share the tv with my older sister and we both could agree on Gummi Bears. I remember wondering why Tummi and Garfield had the same voice as a kid.

little bear. The old ones when it first came out, they were adorable! I loved the duck and her stupidity.

I'm a star wars fan and i feel ewoks didn't belong in this category. And you forgot paw paws. But i know it's hard to remember everything. OHH and Yogi bear.

                                        But i voted care bears.
