    One of the best horror movies in recent memory! when i first heard back in 2003 when they were gonna remake the greatest zombie movie ever, i was pissed off. I am a fan of the original and i was mad when i heard the news, i mean that's like trying to repaint the mona lisa with sewer material, why screw with something when it's not broken right?

    Then when i saw the trailer in december 2003, i thought it might not be so bad. Then in March when i saw this in theaters i was pleasantly suprised. It's a nice reimagining of a great horror classic with good acting, nice gore effects and cool fast moving zombies like you seen on "Return of the Living Dead". This movie with "Hills Have Eyes" and "The Ring" are the best horror remakes in recent memory, although "Halloween" and "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" were decent.

    It's good fun for every horror fan.

        		 I like the original version better to be honest. It's not a bad film,but seems to lose some of the original submessage of the original concerning consummerism to me.

                		 The remake was good until the part where the zombie baby is being born, then it was utterly butchered.

                It had a really good intro, they should have just called this movie something else. The original was way better.
