System 8 years 11 months ago Posts: 74809	I'm actually pretty psyched for the launch of the revolution even if it is a year away. I mean, the revolution is actually going to be a NEXT GEN system. Not a mop up of the exact same gameplay with a prettier shell. I can't wait to test the infered controllers. It is known that the revolution graphics are not going to be up with the 360's or PS3's tho . However the launch price of the revolution isn't going to exceed 150 bucks, YAY!) (BTW i've been a nintendo fanboy to the core since i got my super nes when i was 6 in 1996)

Snppls 8 years 11 months ago Posts: 54	I will, mostly so I can play all the retro games I never had in the old days and ofcourse for any new zelda games that come out controller seems pretty cool to me, but I won't judge it until I've tried it, but I have faith in nintendo, they've always delivered good products and I'm pretty sure they will do that again I wouldn't say the rev's graphics won't be as good as the 360 or ps3 just yet, so far all 'leaked' specs have been false, and nintendo have stated that they have one more big surprise in store for the rev, so who knows it would be funny if that last surprise would be graphics to match the 360, then all those sony and xbox fanboys wouldn't have a reason to bash nintendo anymore like they do now

System 8 years 11 months ago Posts: 74809	I think the cpu specs are true, but we don't know anything about the gpu. The 360's cpu was about (according to microsoft) 10 times more powerful than the xbox's. Their gpu was only about 3 to 5 times moe powerful. Who knows maybee the GPU for the revolution will be advanced enough to pump out graphica at the most CLOSE to the 360's graphix. Not thatin they'll need them. Innovation beats power in the video game market (atleast that's what nintendo's hoping for) and the Discs are now supposed to be able to hold more than enough data for low def games (No high def) so i would by a revolution just to have a virtual real sword fight with somone on the internet in Zelda.

System 8 years 11 months ago Posts: 74809	see i saw the controller and said "ut uh, no way" but you know what? i've been a nintendo fan.. well forever actually.. and thats never going to change just cause nintendo go me young and i'm so damned hooked on titles like Zelda and and Metroid (i would liek to see a full out 3rd person Metroid game from them though, if they can do it to mario then samus would be a cake-walk), would like to also see a new punch-out game.. any way.. i think if i dont get it when it launches there will be a revolution in my house within 2 years..

Imagine the awesomeness of the new Zelda on the Rev drools. Its been confirmed already that a new Mario game is in the works for the Rev, but its not known if it will be THE Super Mario 128 that was planned for the GC as a squeal for SM64; its just the codename. This is either the best idea since peanut butter and jelly, or will sink Nintendo forever. I'll hang on to my 8bit NES . I'm going to make my next gen console the PS3.

I'm going to make my next gen console the PS3. not to worry. the revolution will be backwards compatible to the GC controller so you can still use a more convetional stick. the GC stick has to be my favorite, PSX is next , i just cant stand XBOX stick.
