An awesome and unique Sci-fi drama about society in the UK gone bad due to gangs and brainwashing of crooks. A Stanley Kubrick classic!

Don't forget Malcom Mcdowell in his greatest role ever! but his worst role was in that disgusting "Caligula".

It falls under the category of movies that rule.

                              Remembers me of something:

Once, a professor (and friend) of mine lends us a nice homework. Watch a movie (he picked of course) and make a quick summary of it. Well, he picked Clockwork Orange and the girl summary went something like this:

"This movie showed me the importance of family and friendship. It was also very interesting how it shows lots of things and the way it was filmed was pretty impressive. I learned a lot of this movie"

The professor stare at her. Turned and look at me. we both looked each other and calmly I reply:
                              "Should we cry or laugh?"

                              Him: "I honestly don't know"

                              Good times indeed.
Nice to have Mr Monkey eating-an-ice-thingie back...

                                Yeah, me too.

I recommend O Lucky Man, another excellent movie with Malcolm McDowell.

Caligula is almost unwatchable...if it weren`t for the nudity.

another good movie with him in it is Gangster No. 1. (even though his role isn`t that big)

That's the main reason they'll never show A Clockwork Orange on TV as well. :P

I agree with Shazbot, the movie is all hype.

Back on topic, I remember watching a documentary about Kubrick and after making that movie he had to be in hiding for several months because he had a lot of death threats by the fans of the flic.

Because of how much graphic content this movie contains, I seriously doubt it'll ever be shown on TV.
