    Hi everyone!

I'm new to the forums but have been on the site every now and then. I was thinking of writing an article about one of my hobbies. It's kind of a combination; it's about some of my favorite childhood movies, but also about vhs tapes. It's about me collecting the original rental tapes I used to rent of the movies I love so much. Getting the DVD's is just too easy, so I still search for the same versions of movies I rented years ago.

Make sure you stock up on VCR's now, because the shelf life of them isn't too good and in like 10 years they will be pretty hard to find I figure.

Go for it. It sounds like an interesting subject, and one that I can relate to. As video stores either go out of business or replace their VHS titles with DVDs, I pick up as many as I can with the money that I have. I also peruse flea markets for them when I can get out.

It would be interesting to hear your take on it. Go for it!

Hah, how I'd like to see that day.

No seriously, I would liek to see the day when people buy VCRs at $200 a pop.
