    		 Who remembers the old 1920s song "Crying for the Carolines"?

    This song was the basis of what is now the only surviving short in the Spooney Melodies (the precursor to Merrie Melodies) series, a package of semi-animated shorts produced by Warner Bros. in 1930-31 to help popularize songs taken from their music catalog.
