Last week Ferris Bueller, this week Billy Idol.

And can you stand it? Longest .... podcast .... ever....

Actually, only longest for us. About 30 minutes. But ... dare I say classic?

    I dare!

Do me a favor? Either pour me another drink (before I do it myself) or go to iTunes and subscribe to "Stuck in the 80s" (or God kills another kitten) or just click here and it will download by magic.

I'm telling you. Any one can be a guest on our show. Just give us a shout out.

Have you heard Billy's new CD, Devil's Playground? His voice has -- let's say -- matured. It sounds a little gravely on the single "Scream." But the music is still good and the song still rocks.

If you really want to hear him in his hey-day, then obviously Rebel Yell is the place. Or the mini-CD Don't Stop, which is my personal fave.

We play of lot of his 80s stuff on this week's podcast. If anyone has a chance to download it and listen, let me know what you think.

"Eyes without a face, got no human grace..eyes without"....oh sorry excuse me. Everytime I think of Billy Idol I get "Eyes Without a Face" in my head, that's my favorite song from him. He was such a cool singer.

You "Eyes without a Face" fans should listen to the podcast, if only for to hear Gina and me sing along to that song. Especially the "When you hear the music..." ramped up part of the song. Please, please, please listen to the podcast. I need feedback from real 80s fans.

I'm a big fan of that sound. But I'm still going to go with Untouchables and Blue Highway as my favorites. Followed by Eyes without a Face and the Dead Next Door. Flesh for Fantasy is high on the list. Great guitar work.

Most overplayed? Obviously Mony Mony. Second most overplayed: White Wedding. Though still entertaining.
