Well the series is a fun but cheap money-making rip-off series of the superior "Halloween" series but maybe this will bring new life to the series.
Not all horror remakes are bad, some can be good or great like "The Thing", "The Blob", "Cat People", "Invasion of the Body Snatchers (197

", "Night of the Living Dead (1990)", "Dawn of the Dead", "The Hills Have Eyes" and "The Fly". Some can be decent like "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", some can be mediocore like "House of Wax" (Saving grace was Paris Hilton getting killed) and some can blow like "Psycho", "The Fog" or "Wicker Man".
I bet you all think "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" are remakes too, NO they are not. They are part of a reboot franchise that discards the Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher films and makes it's own franchise away from them.
