Which was your favorite video game involving skateboarding? There is no doubt that todays Tony-Hawk 3-D skating games are amazing, but there were some great thrashing games prior to that!

I've played them all, T&C was good but I loved (and still have) the original Skate or Die. My firends and I loved to play "Joust".

Skate or Die 1 & 2 were really fun, 720 was ok but I never played T&C.

Sk8te or DIE with Rodney Dangerfield sportin a mohawk.

Some of the best SID-chip usage on the Commodore 64, the intro theme song I used to leave running sometimes just cuz I thought it was so cool.

            Great game too......

720 degrees was also cool, and more like an ancestor to todays Tony Hawk games.

In fact the Tony Hawk games on the GBA are pretty much like "modern" versions of 720 degrees.

Hells yeah! Skate or Die and Skate or Die 2 were awesome. T&C was alright, although the seagulls and stuff were annoying and had nothing to do with skating or surfing. Never heard of that other game.

We've got a board just for video games, modern or retro, so I'll move this there.

Yeah I meant to add California Games to the poll, though the halfpipe in that game had poor gameplay. I agree that the Skate or Die 2 game itself was frustrating and poorly designed. The Skate or Die 2 halfpipe made it all worthwhile though. In the Gameboy version, if you get enough points you can rocket-air to the moon where you skate in a moon crater in zero gravity! Rock n'roll!

                      1 - 720 degrees
                      2 - Skate or Die
                      3 - T&C Surf Design
                      4 - Skate or Die 2

all awesome games, untill top skater. that game SEEMED cool, with its interactive board and all in the arcade, but 720 handled better. tony hawk's games are the cake stealers. yessir.
