    		 I think this was Joe Spinell's second flick. You might remember him from a little movie titled 'Maniac'. He was also that one Italian guy they would always show cheering in the Rocky movies. You know the one. I didn't know that until I rented Maniac. The Blue Underground release features a short film biography on his life. Pretty interesting stuff if you're into the old low budget slasher movies.

    This movie was released as 'Fanatic' on the Troma label on DVD. What I watched was the original VHS version on Vestron Video. I bought it for like a buck at this video store that was closing its doors for good. I liked the movie because it was filmed on location at the Cannes Film Festival in France sometime in the early 80's.

      		 I haven't seen this, but if the Maniac you're talking about is about a muderous farmer, I have seen that.
