WHAM! 6 years 1 month ago Posts: 323	I loooooooooooooooooove me some Batman. I'm the biggest Batman nerd EVARRR- I have the entire animated series on DVD. I absolutely adore the Joker and Harley Quinn- they're my fave villain couple. : ) Here's a doodle I did a couple months ago and colored in Corel Painter. Enjoy! Anybody else have any Batman-related artwork? : )

I do go to art school. : ) I'm currently majoring in Fine Arts, but I'm changing my major to Illustration because it would be more beneficial since I want to end up doing animation/illustration among other things for Disney.

SuperRainCheck 6 years 1 month ago Posts: 366	Nicely done! I use Corel Painter for my comics. Did you use the paint bucket for the base colour, pencil for the outlines, and air brush tools to get the shadow and smoke effects?

For this picture, I actually inked a sketch in Photoshop with the pen tool, THEN moved it to color in Corel Painter. I think I used the oil pastel tool for this one- just colored it all in with that and worked in shadows/highlights with it, too. I think I did the smoke by moving it back into PS after it was all colored and just slapped those in with the regular paintbrush.
