    I bought this DVD today for $2. It's by the director Ed Wood, best known for Plan 9 From Outer Space;

    I gotta tell ya, for a movie from 1953 it's pretty bizarre. Here's my favourite scene: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=Vy9C80NIk2o

    Glen is a transvestite. But let me make this perfectly clear: he is not a homosexual. At least that's what the narration keeps stating again and again.

    This guy is like a vampire scientist. I have no idea what he has to do with the story but he keeps mixing up potions and doing terrible monologues.

    Isn't it entirely normal for a man to seek comfort behind closed doors?

    Glen tying to convince his fiance Barbera that he is normal. The devil is there for some reason...

    In the last part of the movie there is some explaination about "pseudo-hermaphrodytes" and sex-change operations.

    Apparently Cinnemassacre is gonna do a series on Ed Wood's movies soon. I'm sure he'll explainthis shit better than I can...

      ha the only reason I found out about it is from ed wood also bela lugosi had developed a relationship with wood . yet even though they had a friend ship I felt bad the legend was reduced to that. I mean lugosi stared in a movie bela lugosi meets the brooklyn gorrilla . just felt sad for the guy.

        The dialogue he had in Glen or Glenda was terrible, I felt sorry for the guy. "Bevare! Bevare! The Green Dragon that sits on your door step..." But, yeah, I know what you mean...Ed Wood was a great movie too.
