The Last time I watched a movie was not a movie but a 63-minute documentary about how Film Schools like USC in California lead to guys like George Lucas, Francis Ford Coppola, Steven Spielberg, and even Martin Scorsese entering the floodgates of an ever-changing Hollywood. It may be about Francis Ford Coppola's own company American Zoetrope's early years, but it also speaks volume about how Hollywood began to transform its stuff, style, etc., including, the ways of moviemaking, among others. It appeared on Disc 2 of my 2-Disc DVD copy of THX 1138, George Lucas' first feature film (before he made American Grafitti, the Star Wars movies both old and new, Indiana Jones and other stuff) (Well, I have it somewhere), and is probably called A Legacy of Filmmakers: The Early Years of American Zoetrope. I recommend you guys to see this interesting documentary on the early years of American Zoetrope and its legacy, even if you ever own the 2-Disc THX 1138 DVD.
