What a great film. I'd highly recommend Yojimbo, Seven Samurai and Hidden Fortress, if you haven't already seen them.

I finally watched Hurt Locker last night. Pretty solid filmmaking and more than a few tense moments. Best Picture worthy? Don't know about that.

I've seen The Hurt Locker. It was suspenseful. I'm not sure if it's worthy of the Oscar for Best Picture, though. It's better than the film that won the year before: Slumdog Millionaire.

Those sound like good films, too. I might check them out someday. :)

Thor: The Dark World (2013) Fine film, but why do these blockbusters
have such lame subtitles? "The Dark World, Dark of The Moon" Are they
best the marketing people can come up with?

P.S. There's a hilarious "Captain America" cameo in this movie. :)

From Up On Poppy Hill (2012) It's been a long time since I've last
seen a Studio Ghibli movie and that was like Kiki's Delivery Service from
                12 to 13 years ago.

I really need to see more of these movies. :)

Bee Movie. I liked it! CGI wasn't as good as some, but I appreciated the more grown up elements.

A great successor to the first film that really pushes the bounds
