I always get the foot long Steak & Cheese toasted with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, pepper, mustard and mayonnaise on Monterey Cheddar bread. I love it!

Flat, gross sandwiches with bad ingredients I used to love chicken teryiaki until I opened the sandwich, looked inside and got disgusted.

I always get the veggie sub. Ever since the issue with listeriosis in Maple Leaf brand luncheon meats I've been trying to avoid eating processed meats.

The Italian herb and cheese bread, ham, swiss cheese--toasted, with tomatoes, onions, sweet peppers, oil and vinegar and most importantly the SWEET ONION SAUCE!!! MMMMM!

                        or:

Meatballs, extra sauce, onions and jalapeno peppers..no cheese

I agree that Subway is not the same quality as a sandwich from a really good deli( which around here would cost about $15 if you get a drink and tiny bag of chips--about 2X the price of Subway)--- but it has it's own good points and you can invent some really yummy things.

I usually get the meatball or the steak and cheese. Sometimes during the summer I get the turkey or the cold cut trio, so what I get tends to depend on the sandwich but I always include green pepper, hot peppers and black olives and I usually get Italian herb and cheese or whole wheat for the bread.

I miss the shredded bbq chicken sub a lot, that was my favorite sub ever since I have been going to Subway and then one day poof it was gone.

The last time I had one I put on meatballs, pepperoni, American and Monterrey jack cheese, lettuce, mustard, and since there was no deli mustard I substituted it with ranch.

I Order my sub just like that only instead of ranch, deli mustard.
