    		 Hey guys I am not new to the site, but new to writing articles, and I have a couple questions. I wrote an Article and it was approved, but it landed directly on the back page with a score of -5. First of all how do articles appear on the main page, do they all start low like mine and work their way up? Second question, how do I get my article to have a little thumbnail so you guys can see what its about?

        		 wow... i dunno... i've seen much worse on the main page.. but i've also heard peolpe comlain about this before... your articl was alittle short... maybe go back and look it over again and see if there might be a little more you could add... pics... story.. etc.. good luck man

              		 All new articles start on the main page with a score of zero. Then, people vote the article up or down. If you get a -3 or less in the first day, you're usually auto-bumped to the back page. If you at least score in the positive, you'll stick around for a day or two, or maybe until the next batch simply bumps yours to the second page to make room. Only front page articles get thumbnails, and whoever approves the articles picks the thumbnail from the pics you uploaded to the article.

                  		 Your article wasn't bad. It could have been longer, and had a few more pictures in it. Just look at some of the high schoring articles on the front pages for an idea. I recommend the "Art of War" series.

                    		 Just keep on trying. Even the "good writers" have articles in the back pages.
