TimCurryChick85 9 years 1 day ago Posts: 486	I don't collect but I remember in 5th grade when the Hunchback of Notre Dame came out I thought it was the most awesome movie so I collected the cereal box from it and then my parents found it a couple of years later and threw it out b/c they thought it was just some crummy old cereal box in my room

System 9 years 1 day ago Posts: 74809	I did for a while, still technically do. I've saved a bunch of them from the mid 90s until today, but my pride and joy are my 12 boxes from the 80s. Basically I got started looking for a Mr. T cereal box. I was checking ebay everyday, but still no T box. Along the way I picked up Smurf Berry Crunch, G.I. Joe Action Stars, Pac-Man, Nintendo, ETs, Donkey Kong Junior, C-3P0's, Batman (1989), Ghostbusters, and Gremlins. Finally after about a year and a half, I picked up both Mr. T and Donkey Kong boxes. It was one heck of a run.

TimCurryChick85 8 years 11 months ago Posts: 486	Wow...ET had a cereal...thats cool. I love ET I have an unopened box of Count Chocula cause it seems to only be sold around here on Halloween and I'm sure sooner or later they'll just stop selling it all together.

System 8 years 10 months ago Posts: 74809	i used to collect (and still do from time to time) cereal box offers like toys, memorabilia, etc from movies, cartoons, or other stuff. my earliest items were a free flipper watch from rice crispies, a mr potatohead pennybank from cheerios, the whole set of kelloggs cereal cars from the '3os, and several nascar items. recently i got some spiderman II watches and a projection alarm clock from kelloggs stuff. everything is either free with so many upc's or very inexpensive i havent looked around much yet, but does anybody else collect stuff like that?

jtfoxman 8 years 8 months ago Posts: 100	I have 4 or 5 boxes of the Special Wheaties editions for Black athletes in 2004. Carl Lewis, Jackie Robinson are 2 of them. These are the boxes before they are put together and glued.

System 8 years 1 month ago Posts: 74809	I collect cereal boxes! I have about 300 of them. Most of them are from the last 15 years or so but I do have some from the 50's to the 80's. My favorite is a box of Star Wars cereal called C3P-0's. I took it with me to a sci-fi convention to get signed by the actor who played that character. I also have the standee store display for that cereal, autographed! Other favs are Quisp, Frankenberry, Cap'n Crunch, Freakies, & Mt.T!
