NickMania 9 years 2 days ago Posts: 1039	Lately Ive Been Having These Periods Where I Turn On My Computer and Then I turn On My Cable Modem And First I Check My Email, Then I Update My Virus Definitions, And Last I Update My Spyware Definitions And It All Loads At The Usual High Speed. But Then I Open Mozilla FireFox and Then My Pages Load So Slow That Sometimes The Connection Just Times Out Completely. Has AnyOne Besides Me Had This Problem With Their Cable Modems, Or Is It Just My Own Cable Modem?

If the problem is with Yahoo, then we've been having the same problem here, too. Is it with all websites, or multiple websites? Also, what are you using for monitoring your PC for spyware? Some programs that claim to block spyware actually ARE spyware. I suggest running a scan on your PC with Ad-Aware, which can be downloaded for free from http://www.lavasoftusa.com.
