The only good spin-off was Zeo.

I had a Power Rangers backpack well into junior high. Until today, I never could understand why the other kids spent so much time locking me in bathroom stalls.

Dude, that sucks (about you being locked in the bathroom all the time by the other kids, that is).

I wasn't serious. At least, not about that part. I did have a MMPR backpack, though, and I did carry it until the beginning of 7th grade. We were poor, and new backpacks were a luxury. I felt like a millionaire when I finally got my first Trapper Keeper. I was 16.

I remember I was all about this shit in the second grade. Once they started making spin offs I lost interest quickly.

i liked in the original, they replaced the tyrannosaurus with a kickass dragon, cuz the former and the others died in a volcano. awesome.

one thing that annoyed me about this show, is that everytime whatsherface throws down her magic wand that makes the monster grow SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEXJOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKEHEEEEEEEEEERE but the damn rangers never EVER try to at least deflect it.

oh and Goldar always promises that the rangers would be destroyed but he never keeps that dang promise. gotdangit.

I think that there should be a new Super Sentai series done in the style of Cloverfield. Not with the shaky handheld, but just showing how fucked up it would be if a giant pig mutant had a fist fight with five huge robot dinosaurs in real life.

                          You're right.

No buildings were destroyed, even when the giant mutants exploded. They dropkicked each other, and not so much as a window was shattered. All the fights fit neatly in one small street.

I totally grew up on Power Rangers, I was always the yellow one. I think the saber tooth tiger. I had a lot of fun playing Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles when I was a kid.

Power Rangers are fun to watch when you are stoned.

That's what I keep telling my kids but they're too "straight-edge".
