Original nintendo/sega games were always ruled by as boss factor. Now a days, they seem to be fading away in games, turning into level objection completion. The last game I played with good boss fights was Metal Gear Solid 3. I'm somewhat tired to say my whole point here, so I'll cut to the chase. Are bosses a dying breed?

I wouldn't say so, heck there's a couple of games made in the last 5 years that I can think of that have bosses.

eg: Final Fantasy X, Paper Mario, Zelda: Majora's Mask, and FF Tactics Advance.

And you even got them at work also :P

Well I have to agree with that statement. I think games nowadays are way too easy in general. For example a game like Halo 2. Everybody says this game is so good and stuff. Well I hated it because it's way too short and the bosses are way too easy.

a game with some HARD bosses is Metroid Prime 2. That game took a lot of effort for me to beat.

Yeah. The omega pirate in Metroid prime one was a killer. Though I didn't find Ridley as hard as people exagerated him to be. I forgot the rest of the arguement I had from when I made this last night.

I can't get past the damn plant thing in Metroid Prime.

I was playing Batman Begins last weekend and the "bosses" are really easy. Scarecrow barely puts up any more of a fight than the random thugs.

I remember Joker in the first Batman game was kinda tough. He did so much damage that he could kill you even if you had the unlimited energy code.
