    		 Even though I absolutely hate most fan fictions, there are a few good ones out there. Even written any?

        		 I write Fan-Fiction all the time. I write both serious and humorous stories, depending on the mood I'm in :P

        I write mainly Transformers stories, but I also write Great Mouse Detective, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and Jem. I also write for Star Wars and Harry Potter, but I don't have any stories posted for them.

          		 For quite a few years, I wrote "Animaniacs" and "Pinky And The Brain" fan-fiction on the Warner Brothers Club forum, which was the predecessor to the current Toon Zone forums. Unfortunately, I don't think I was good at writing it. My writing was too serious and too loaded with pop-culture references to really be considered an heir to the humor of the Silver Age.

                                		 i have done some stupid fanfictions before. as for the others ive read theyre always sad, try to be funny and stereotypical with the characters. like they always must say their catchphrase everytime its a scene about them.

                                also its stupid cuz it doesnt contribute to the main canon. i dunno why people make it.

                                  That's one reason I hate most fanfics. It doesn't help that some fandoms like Zelda or Fire Emblem are just shipping-bait. I prefer to write my stuff with no romance whatsoever.

                                      I personally feel that that's the reason people write them. They want to write out a scenario that wasn't dealt with in whatever series they're interested in.

                                      For example, years ago, I wrote a Digimon fic which was an alternate ending to Adventure 02 since Japan hadn't aired episode 45 or higher yet at the time I originally wrote most of it. At the time, I figured that Demon was going to be the main villain, so I had to change some things, like dialogue and such pertaining to Demon. I had the story take place two years after 02 ended (or something, forgot now).

                                      I wrote that story because I was a fan of Demon, and hated how the character didn't get much story, like in the V-Tamers manga, so I wrote that Demon broke away from the dark world to seek out revenge, pretty much continuing where BelialVamdemon left off...sort of.

                                      Another fic I wrote, looking back is just downright terrible for grammar and accuracy (along with the majority of my old fics, imo, which I can't even look over to even fix it), was a Digi-fic focused around Koushirou and his adoption complex. Had to change a couple of "canon" things...like saying he never got over the complex. lol I always liked that aspect of his character, and would've liked it expanded on, so I wrote it. His complex is directly connected to why his character acted the way he did. Overly polite and anti-social, up to a point.

                                      Another example is a story dealing with Legends of Zelda. This person has been writing on that story since about 2001, I think. It's pretty much a dramatization of Ocarina of Time. I loved it since it had more detail. I also liked the fact that Link never seemed to do everything alone, like the games in general (although, for the manga series, this seemed to not be the case; seems he usually shared his adventure with someone).

                                      Fanfics aren't too bad...just depends on what's being written. I haven't read much, but seems that I do have a low tolerance for stories where the characters are completely out of character, unless it's comedy and was done that way on purpose and the author and readers know that prior. I also have a low tolerance for most romance-oriented stuff that's cheesy or "stereotypical" which usually = out of character situations.

                                        		 I started a couple of fan fictions a while ago. One was a Sonic SatAM fan fiction about Robotnik and Snively rebuilding the Skyspy space station and using it to successfully infiltrate Knothole Village and harness the power of rings to restart the Doomsday Project. Another of my fan fictions was about Final Fantasy VII and what would've happened fifty years after the events of the original game. It would've involved an elderly Cloud Strife mentoring a sort of Neo-Avalanche Freedom Fighter group to save the planet once again. It also would've involved Cloud passing his infamous Buster Sword down to his granddaughter whom I never had the chance to name. This was mostly due to the fact that my hard drive crashed before I really had a chance to flesh out the characters and the stories. I also had an original furry tale about a race of tribal foxes living in the future and using their primitive weapons and technology to stop an evil steampunk-esque neo machine dynasty. These were all fun and neat ideas and maybe one day I'll return to one of my ideas and have the heart to finish what I started. But not now...

                                          My biggest non-yaoi story is based on the Archie Sonic comic series. It deals with Sonic knocking up the princess, then finding out the child is Shadow's and eventually killing it (out of character, I know). Then Princess Sally sentences him to death and, by a stroke of incredible luck, he survives the hanging and escapes to a remote part of the planet to begin a new life. In the meantime, Robotnik has destroyed Knothole VIllage and had captured everyone but Tails, Bunnie, Sally and Shadow. I need to finish this story someday. This tale is kinda like a bad soap opera.
