Stephen King books are often made into TV mini-series movies. Later on they get played on TNT or USA as daytime weekend programming. I think The Stand took at least 10 hours to watch the whole way through. I've also watched Rose Red, Storm of the Century, and The Langoliers in similar ways.
Dune was a long movie too, but I watched that over 2 nights.
I've seen all the LOTR movies (extended editions), but not in a row. I also saw Titanic (hated it), The Godfather, Heat, and Pearl Harbor (waste of my time).
