It was either Voltron or Robotech, followed by Fist of the North Star. At the time I knew Robotech was originally an anime called Macross but never knew Voltron was originally called GoLion for the longest time. I did however know there were three Voltrons because I had the toys from the vehicle versions and saw all three on the back of one of the boxes.

Well, my first Anime was Speed Racer, Maya the Bee, Noozles and Lil' Bits. Of course, back then, I didn't know what Anime was so I didn't realize they were until much later on.

My first "Anime I realized was Anime" was Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z (which actually got me hooked on Anime to begin with.)

No idea. Probably the Nick Jr. stuff in the 80s and Hello Kitty or either Voltron. This is before I knew what "anime" was, though. Didn't realize the whole "anime" thing until like the late 90s. lol

Noozles and The Littl' Bits (Mori no Yoki na Kobito-tachi Berufi to Rirubitto) on early 90s Nick Jr. were my first anime, although at that young age I didn't know it (I think I was 9). Then I saw Sailor Moon on USA's Cartoon Express and Robotech on CN in the mid-late 90s when I was about 14 or so, and read on the Internet about anime from other people watching those shows. I would say Sailor Moon was my "gateway" anime, as watching that show specifically made me want to seek out more of that style of animation. Later, I got hooked on Ranma 1/2 (Blockbuster), Tenchi Muyo! (CN), Pokémon (WB), Digimon (Fox Kids) - in that order.

I originally thought my first anime was either Kiki's Delivery Service or Sailor Moon only to find out many years later that The Littl' Bits was my first! I had no idea when I was little it was an anime!

My first anime must have been Voltron--I can't remember farther back than that. From that day on, I sought out anything that was drawn in the anime style--it really appealed to me, I guess because of how the characters looked. Anime characters have an elfin look to them that really appealed to me. But I was totally clueless that this stuff came from another country.

The first anime I saw that I knew was anime was Gall Force.

It had to be Sailor Moon...I seem to remember it aired before Sonic the Hedgehog on Saturday mornings. Either that, or Samurai Pizza Cats.

I watched Speed Racer on Cartoon Network but not too often. Then came Pokemon and Digimon before I finally settled with really weird anime like FLCL, Excel Saga and Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. A couple years ago, I got hooked on an 80's anime called Ginga Nagareboshi Gin/Silver Fang Legend.

Bubble Gum Crisis, I saw it at a party when I was about 14. I thought it was the coolest looking cARTOON EVER. I Started watching alot of anime after that : Akira, GHost in the Shell, Alita battle angel, wicked city.

The first tv shows were Battle of the Planets and Voltron. The first anime movies I saw were Akira, Lensman, Vampire Hunter D, 8 Man Returns and Project A-ko. That one really big, muscular schoolgirl from A-ko still gives me the creeps. I think she was inspired by Janet Reno.

Nice you saw Star Blazers first before BotP (never really liked that show but find some of it's quirks pretty amusing).
