I believe it was Unico but my memory is pretty shoddy. I loved that movie dearly and used to watch it contiuously.

Ok so I am not a big anime fan but I remember watching Akira in 7th or 8th grade (I have NO clue how they got away with that). But I also remember stuff like The Sea Prince and the Fire Child (aka The Legend of Sirius) which is still my fave although you can't get it on DVD or VHS anymore (well maybe for hundreds of dollars)

Btw looking at Wikipedia at when the sea prince was released I have no clue how my friend got the copy as I had to have watched it around the time it came out in 1981 in Japan and it was English dubbed. I think that 1991 US release date is wrong as I swear I saw it about 1984 or 1985 or earlier in the US.

DragonBall Z, when I was 11 years old. I'm sure I saw others when I was younger, but thats when I actually realized what anime was and started watching it.

It could be Sailor Moon although there might have been some little kid animes that I watched when I was very, very young.

                                    In the following order:

                                    Force Five
G-Force (aka Battle of the Planets)
                                    Star Blazers
                                    Voltron
                                    Robotech

From then on, fan for life and too many to mention.

                                        Well, my first anime were:

                                        -G-Force (I didn't know about Gatchaman then)
                                        -Sailor Moon
                                        -Speed Racer

My obsession with anime first began in 1995.

I've got a hand, and you've got another... put 'em both together and we've got each other.
