What memories do you have of the group Rockapella, which were well-known for their contributions to the Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? game show and a Folgers coffee ad?

The Rockapella lineup that a lot of people know are Sean Altman (tenor), Elliott Kerman (baritone), Barry Carl (bass) and Scott Leonard (high tenor). This particular lineup was in place from 1991 to 1996. Vocal percussionist Jeff Thacher joined the then-current Rockapella lineup in 1993 as a permanent member (after having worked with temporary member David Yazbek, who, with Altman, co-wrote the theme songs to the game show adaptations of Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? and its sequel, Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego? two years before).

Most of the songs in their repertoire date from the '60s and early '70s, such as The Temptations' "My Girl" (1965), and "Shambala," originally recorded in 1973 by B. W. Stevenson and, not long afterward, by Three Dog Night. The only song I can think of from the '80s that Rockapella have covered is Squeeze's 1981 hit "Tempted."

One of their original songs is "Zombie Jamboree."
