    		 I'm hoping this doesn't get me banned from the site on my first post but I thought I'd suggest a couple of topics I'd like to see someone write an article about.

    First off let me say I'm a huge fan of this site and I think I've read almost every article, at least all the one's I could find.

    My writing/investigative skills are definitely up to par with what I've read on the site so far, so maybe someone with a little talent might like to dig into these topics (big apologies if these have already been talked about):

    intellivision

    laser tag

    candy you don't see anymore - ie. bubble tape, candy whistles..

    power glove ins and outs

    Eddie Murphy live comedy shows - why were they better than anything we see now.

    80's mac computers/games

    Week at a glance for a tv schedule in any year 1985-1990

    those are a few things from my childhood that I'd love to read a retrojunker's perspective on.

      		 Well, how about writing about these topics yourself? We always welcome new contributors, and it would be interesting to see what you could come up with. I would recommend reading Knites' article "On Writing" for a primer on how to do an article. Let's see what you've got.

        		 thanks very much maybe I'll take a stab if I can summon up a little time/creativity. In the meantime if any of these articles already exist or if anybody writes about one of the topics please let me know, if you don't mind.

          Wow, I didn't realize that those candies weren't being sold everywhere anymore. I see them all the time, they are some of my kids favorites. I loved them when I was a kid too. :wink:
