              neither, u drink the broth. but the broth is liquid...

                Because its SOUP, not broth. Soup usually has stuff like noodles and potatoes and ect...you eat it, and afterwards if you drink the broth...well, your drinking.

                    Well, what about "broth"? Do you eat that or drink it? I think I eat soup and I drink or "sip" broth. (not that I go around doing this very often..maybe when I was sick as a child)

                    For some reason it is hard to imagine saying "What do you want to drink--coffe? tea? Clam Chowder?
