I'm talking about the games that AREN'T Super Game Boy Enhanced, such as "Super Mario Land" and "Tiny Toon Adventures: Babs' Big Break" (because they have no special frame and/or pre-selected colors to use), so don't you fret.

Except for portability (and game compatibility obviously), the Super Game Boy's better in every way. Older Game Boy games either look stretched or like lots of screen space isn't being used on the Game Boy Advance.
