Is the cowboy the past generation just trying to hold on to its old values in a world that no longer understands them?

Is buzz lightyear the 'millenial generation' with its high-tech, devil-may care attitude and instant gratification?

Is the slinky dog a representation of the righteous and just in society, while the army guys are what Nietzsche would refer to as the "enslaved masses"?

And can we all see a little of ourselves in the deformed playthings which may seem offputting and odd, but just an imperfect being trying to be loved?

You bring up an interesting point, though...it's funny, but I've read through a few of ilikethepixies' responses, and I can never tell if he/she is being serious or sarcastic! Your questions seem thought-provoking, yet I can't help think that you just want to make us think about things that don't really hold any relevance in our lives, such as this Toy Story comparison. You have a very interesting writing style, ILikeThePixies!
