I tend to lean on your side of the fence, NickRules...of all the desserts out there, cheesecake just doesn't do it for me the way a slab of Chili's Paradise Pie does...mmm...albeit, I do like the occasional slice of cheesecake, don't get me wrong

Icemaster109 6 years 2 months ago Posts: 51	I love cheesecake. The texture is rich and tastey. The only problem is that I think you have to eat it in moderation. I see some places like the Cheesecake Factory give out slices that are ridiculously large, and some brave individuals scarf down all of that. They feel sick, and then all of sudden they hate cheesecake...well you will feel that way after you ate 4 pounds of it.

I have a Frugal Gourmet cook book in which Jeff Smith has his wife's recipe for New York Style Cheesecake and it's the best recipe I ever came across. His wife has never given up the recipe for her cheesecake until that book. The first time my mom and I made it it was a huge hit.
