I used to have these all the time when I was a kid. I didn't know who Sonic was but I thought that the character looked cool. The shapes were Sonic's head, Sonic running, Tail's head, Knuckles' head, and Dr. Robotnik's head. The Spaghettios were called "power rings." I think in 2000 they were discontinued. Do you remember having this way past cool pasta for lunch when you were young?

Absolutely. I was already a die-hard Sonic fan, so once these came out they became the only canned pasta I ever ate. They had to have been discontinued later than 2000 because I distinctly remember having seen them in the aisle with a label redesigned to feature the "Sonic X" iteration of the character. That couldn't have been more than a couple of years ago.

I remember that there was always something under the label, but I can't remember what it was. It might have been Game Genie/Shark codes or trivia. I just remember cutting them off of every can and then hearing, "What the hell is in these cans?"

I used to love Sonic the Hedgehog SpaghettiO's. I don't think I'd be able to eat them now, though. SpaghettiO's taste gross to me now.

Yeah, Spaghettio's don't really sound that tasty anymore.

I never ate Spaghetti O's shaped as video game characters. Never did my mother allow me to eat food with any cartoon/video game characters. Not even the Kraft Macaroni & Cheese shaped as Super Mario characters. I just ate Spaghetti O's with franks.

I remember Sonic the Hedgehog spaghettios. I used to have it on my place and it would have Sonic, Robotnik, and other characters. I used to have that along with Super Mario Macaroni and Cheese.

I don't remember these in particular.

But that's because nothing compares to Ninja Turtle pasta. I also found a can of sesame street spaghettio's in the pantry a few years ago. I didn't dare try it.

I remember those too. I loved playing Sonic on the genesis and eating Sonic Spaghetti-o's.
