First of all, they're finally moving away from the "time traveling robot assassin" thing and are focusing more on the post apocalyptic world where the machines are taking over and the human resistance is fighting them back. I always wanted to see them do this (in fact, this is what they should have done in Terminator 3). I'm not too sure about McG, the director. He's alright but he isn't great. When I went to see Terminator 3, I was expecting it to take place in the future where the humans are fighting the machines. I'm hoping this one delivers what I was expecting in the last movie.

It was a solid action film with some above average CGI and action scenes. It was missing the soul of the first two films and just did part two over with far less story line. It was far from a horrible movie in any regards though. The thing made like 433 million world wide. I'm glad they skipped ahead to the future this time and think this might turn out okay. I'm not crazy about the director,but christian bale expects quality in most of the films he does and will be very vocal if this starts to suck. I'm guessing his participation may help matters lot.
