Too old and fat. I'm thinking Guy Pierce. He's a good actor and he's worked with Christopher Nolan before in Momento

I think Crispin Glover would be perfect as Joker.

That guy is way too creepy. And what kind of name is Crispy Cracker? I havent seen Dark Knight, and I was never a fan of Heath Ledger, but from the looks of the trailer he played the joker very well.

Well, make-up could fix the old part, but fat? Mark Hamill's never been fat at all, has he?

Also, lmfao at Crispin Glover. After mentioning that I realized the Joker's tone of voice in the Dark Knight is very similar to George McFly, but otherwise I don't think that'd work out to well.

Yeah, that edited picture does not look like Keith Ledger's Joker at all. You could edit anybody to look like that.

It wasn't supposed to look like Heath Ledger. It's a similarity to Joker and Glover.

Well to stay in consistency with the films, it should be like Ledger's. Besides, knowing Glover, if the Joker were in the Batman film after the next one, he'd whine about his paycheck and quit, leading to another Joker.

If the Dark Knight is as great as most people say it is, I'll see it.

i'd love to see carrey reprise the role and play it darkly like he did in cable guy.

Riddler is the best bet, but I don't want Carrey back. It would throw it off. Even though he is Hulk, I think Edward Norton would be a good Riddler.

God! No Jim Carey! If they do the Riddler, it has to be done in a serious way, not as some kooking, kackling goofball in green tights. I'm thinking maybe have him as a serial killer who leaves clues and hints as to who he is (like BTK), or have him as a computer hacker like the villains in Live Free, Die Hard . He can incorporate the green question mark as his call sign.

...but, I'm thinking the next outing should be a theatrical version of Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns. Unfortunately, they'd have to find somebody else to play the Joker.

                      I agree. No Jim Carrey.

The Riddler should be like Jigsaw, except he's not a serial killer, he just has very complex riddles with twists and turns.

For a Joker replacement. What about Javier Bardem?

I read that the cast and crew would walk away from the next movie if they recast the Joker. Also, I read that Nolan said he has no idea what he could do for the film. And if he does, he wants a villain that wasn't in any of the other films.

Now, here's what I'm thinking. All of Nolan's Batman films have been somewhat realistic. So, you need a villain thats grounded in 'reality'. There's a power void in the mob. The Ventriloquist and Scarface. And have the mercenary Deadshot as a 'bodyguard'. That could work.

Or, how about the mob once again hires an assassin to take out Batman, an assassin who will use brute force to kill the dark knight as opposed to mind games and trickery, an assassin named Bane. At one point in the movie, he breaks Batman's back.

                            How about Calendar Man?

Of course, Nolan could just go full-goose bozo and put the mutants in: Man-Bat, Killer Croc, and Clayface.

I think the best bets are Riddler, a narcisist criminal mastermind who always leaves uber complex clues. Or Mad Hatter, who could be either a pedophile or child napper (ransom) with deranged child fantasies. That or Ventriloquist.

                                Thoughts?

Deadshot is cool, but I bet it would throw off non-comicbook fans. I say keep it simple with the main realistic villains.

I think they should have Ra's daughter Talyia in a Batman movie. Id rather see them use a new villan that hasn't been done in any movie, such as Clayface or Killer Croc
