i just mix one egg, some amount of milk, soak the bread in there, butter the pan, fry bread and cook until kinda runny mmmmmmmmmmmm it tastes good plane but i always smother em in Log Cabin

Well I tried to make them, and they burned on the outside before they ever got hard on the inside. Ugh. I tried again and even when I turned the heat lower they never seem to get unsoggy in the middle! What am I doing wrong?
