This is quite obvious... I miss Robert Palmer!
I love Robert best during the 1980-1986 era when he revamped his image and became a ladies' man. Also, his voice was in top shape during that period. After Heavy Nova (The sequel to Riptide), which is an iffy album in my opinion, he declined as an artist during the 1990s. Except for Ridin' High, which was a great concept album, Don't Explain, Honey and R&B weren't his best work. All I can think to say is that he may have had a midlife crisis. Unfortunately his creativity came at a bad time and Drive from 2002 (Which went back to his 70s rock roots) ended up being his last album.
