I'd say 10 years minimum, but that's just me.Retro is just another way of saying that something is nostalgic, classic, or iconic. Retro is subjective, after all. To me, Blade Runner is retro greatness, but some people may just view it as just another movie. Retro is subjective, so give the person who made this thread a break.
When the 2010's come, soon on this site (if it still exist), the people that will join this site will be born in the mid to late 90s and then will start getting threads like "Nickelodeon was better in the 00s, now it sucks." Well we're not gonna approve of that.
Something becomes retro when it's more a part of past popular culture than present. 2000+ isn't quite retro yet--too much like today. 10-15 years seems about right.
