    		 I had a few Hess trucks from the 80's, my wife let our kids play with them and now they are broke. My kids are rough on their toys; I played with those trucks for years and never even put a scratch on them.

      I think I had one of those trucks. The 1996 model
      with the ladder and the spotlight.
