If anyone is looking for some pm me.

I know this isn't the right place but hey people could talk about it here too.

Has anyone seen the Japanese rip off of Planet of the Apes called Time of the Apes? A great MST3K episode.

I love that show. I've got a ton of the DVD releases. I wish it was still in syndication because there are so many good episodes that aren't available yet.

As for "Time of the Apes," I don't think I've seen that one. Was it a Joel or a Mike show?

I watch episodes of it on youtube alot, many are posted there. My favorite episodes are the ones where they make fun of Girl's Town (they keep saying "Gigantor!" when there's a shot of Mamie VanDouren's ass) and Kitten with a Whip (which they call Russ Meyer's Goldilocks.)

My favorite one has to be "Santa Claus V.S. The Devil".

"Time of the Apes" was a Joel episode from '91. Also it's only a matter of time before someone mentions the great "Hobgoblins" episode. Possibly the best of the bunch.

Yeah I have all of the episodes and the movie digitized on my computer waiting to be burned and spread the MST3K joy. haha

I constantly find myself watching either "Overdrawn at the Memory Bank" or "Space Mutiny."

Probably one of my favorite shows ever! Love it! I loved 'Jack Frost' because that movie was so damned weird on it's own giving it the MST treatment was just icing on the cake. It makes me sad that almost nobody ever gets when I reference it. Nobody knows why I saw 'Worwilf' for werewolf or sing 'Believe it or not this movie's still on! It should have ended to hours ago-oo-oh!'

Ya know, I would love it if they aired MST3K re-runs on G4, because G4 would be a perfect station to air it.

Yeah. Either that, or Sci-Fi again. That channel needs to wake up and stop airing (and making) mock B-movies.

I remember the first episode I saw was a good old rerun of a Mike episode back in '96 at 11 a.m. on Sci-fi. From then on I watched every week until reruns stopped airing. The last episode I saw on tv was Squirm roughly 2001.

This show was and is in a prestigious league, as far as premise and constantly good writing go.

not sure what's on it, but there's a 20th anniversary set for mst3k coming out on October 28. there's also a big reunion planned at i believe Comicon. All cast members from beginning to end will share the stage. The first mst3k I ever saw was the kathy Ireland film Alien From L.A. I didn't see another til it came to SciFi. Since then, I've tried to download as many as I could get from eMule. Even got some from the KTMA early years. Believe me, those you don't want to see.

My fav has to Boggy Creek 2 & The Legend Continues. Overdrawn at the Memory Bank is 2nd & Space Mutiny is 3rd.

Believe it or not Sloan ( Guy who made Hobgoblins) got so infuriated with MST3K on making fun of him with a carboard cut-out that a sequel is currently in production & it's going to be released later this year. AHHH!:cry: It makes my want to shoot myself just thinking about it.

I think its a pretty funny show. I own two of the boxed sets as well as the movie on DVD.
