These came out with the release of the second Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie back in 1991.

I so wish I still had them.

They are on Ebay selling 20-50 mint in package.

The original movie star Turtles are great. They seem to be popular with the new flood of collectors that have strong memories of the original movie. I was lucky to get my set before the current tmnt craze. I think Splinter with teeth is the rarest, then it's Don. Here's my Raph & Leo. The others are in storage right now.

I've seen those. A great idea on Playmates behalf imo. Only i wish their finger nails weren't so dark, makes them look painted. Also, shouldn't Raph come with the man hole cover instead of Leo? He is Master of the Manhole cover after all! lolz
I finally have the power with which to destroy He-Man forever!
        HEE HEE, NEH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I always wished that Playmates did a Shredder Movie figure based on how he looked in the first Turtles film. The Super Shredder was cool, but kinda clashed with these guys and the sweet ass Foot Soldier that came out.

I've always thought that too. Super Shredder was awesome, but it would have been very cool to have the original movie Shredder.

The NECCA Shredder looks pretty sweet though.

Yeah, the NECA Shredder does look really cool... any idea on when it's gonna be released? So far I've only been able to track down Leonardo and Michelangelo.... they are hard to come by.

No idea. I haven't even tried buying the TMNT figures yet. I always check Amazon but their options are slim.
