Every now and then you get in that mood when you want to hear something smooth and mellow. It's ok you can admit to it here 8) So I thought I'd start a thread where we could talk about some of those great soft rock songs. And what you were doing when you first heard them. This song came out on the day I was born and I've been a fan of the group all my life. Chicago http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0TEa-Aa4sU

And Sweet Freedom http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PAxl8_pB_k I was in the 5th grade collecting Garbage Pail Kids when I first heard this one.

Dude, I totally dig "light rock" I'll admit it.
This song doesn't exactlly fit into that catergory, but boys of summer by don henely is one of my favorite songs. it reminds me of being a kid, living in the trailer house, out in the country, and playing with my sister and cousins everyday. My mom had the record and would listen to it all the time.

Yeah I think as a complete person you've gotta have a place for the hard rock and soft rock.
