    		 i'm kind of an oddball i know, but i have a weird thing for old computers. i've got a couple 8088 machines for example. a few 286's, a 386, a 486, tons of old pentium classic motherboards...

    is anybody else interested in ancient technology like that? it's pretty amazing to boot up an 8088 with the old original 12 inch monochrome amber phosphor monitor, and compare is to a more modern machine.

    i do lots of DOS network programming actually, which lets me get these bad boys online and communicating with newer hardware.

      		 I don't really collect those old computers since I have 0 money. I tend to read about 'em more than collect 'em. The only vintage computer I have is an old PC Brand my dad had. Not sure what processor it had, hadn't checked in years. Perhaps an 80486 but I'm not entirely sure.

        		 Hrm...I had an older model, can't remember what kind. Mostly Linux stuff. Then my mom told me to trash it because she thought I was hacking other computers from it because she read that hackers like to do their dirty business from older models because apparently firewalls and what not don't have anything to protect from the old stuff.
