I found Space Cases to be the most mundane of them all.

Roundhouse. Even as a kid I thought this show was just so absolutely cheesy. It was part of the original SNICK line up so I watched it but I never laughed at the jokes just laughed at how corny it was.

I felt like the show was full of every kid from drama class I had ever met.

Agreed. Why would kids turn on a children's network to be informed. They want to be entertained not educated! That's what the local news and books are for!

The only Nicktoons I don't really care for are post-movie Spongebob(The original 4 seasons were funny.),Rocket Power,As Told By Ginger, and any of the new stuff really. I also didn't like Wild Thornberries as a kid but,it grew on me a little.

Because the producers feel they need to learn about more important things. Life isn't all cartoons you know.

I never liked Roundhouse either. It was just as bad of a sketch comedy, even though I prefer others in the lines of SNL.

In all honesty, I never really watched Nick News either, but I did find it interesting that it was very kid-oriented. The concept of Nick News never actually bothered me much and in a way, it just shows how diverse Nickelodeon was back then. For those who do like to be informed, there was something for them. I bet this was good for probably the older kids.

I loved Roundhouse. I liked the skits, the singing, the sketch improv-style comedy. Personally, I preferred Roundhouse to All That. At least the humor on Roundhouse never felt forced (imo).

When I was a younger, Nick News would be the last show Nickelodeon would show every Sunday night before Nick at Night came on. I hated it because it kind of marked the end of the weekend and it was time to get ready for school the next day.

In my opinion the worst show of 90s Nick that would be as told by ginger that show sucked.

I despised Hey Dude and Salute Your Shorts and I had to put up with it while my sister watched it.

As for the Nicktoons, I never cared for AHH! Real Monsters!

Does anyone know where to watch old episodes of Nick News with Linda Ellerbee? I never got past the intro let alone watch a full episode, haha. I'd like to see it as an adult now, to see if it sucked as much as I imagined it did. :P

                                      legends of the hidden temple.

they offered the worst prizes in that show. same thing for figure it out.

i also wasn't fond of their version of land of the lost. yes i know it's a remake, but it gets boring after a while, trust me.

i couldn't even go through watching a whole episode of nick news. i mean this was a network for kids, and they had to have this to end the block before nick at nite came on

In the UK CBBC has a news program aimed towards kids called Newsround. It's a long runner, since the late 70's too. Maybe the concept wasn't attractive to American kids.
